E-learning Explained

Unlike a traditional classroom method of teaching, e-learning makes learning simpler, easier for all abilities, and cost-effective.

WHAT IS e-learning?

E-learning is cost-effective, eco-friendly and accessible.

It is often self-paced, so learners can consume content anywhere and in their own time. Employers increasingly demand shorter and faster development programs and courses to be easily integrated into an employee’s ‘day job’.

The popularity of e-learning is on the rise too, particularly since 2020 with the rapid increase in remote working and shift to online learning, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There is no need for expensive textbooks or travel expenses, and e-learning enables consistency of training delivery.

Good quality e-learning courses can be just as effective as traditional in-person learning, and learning retention is improved within a digital setting, with fewer distractions

My bespoke e-learning development results in learning being:

  • Accessible
Inclusivity is key – I can ensure that your e-learning is inclusive for all. Inclusivity doesn't mean just providing a Word or PDF version of a course.
  • Customisable
Brand matters and your e-learning can match your organisation's tone of voice and look/feel.
  • Creative
Illustration, video and animation can help bring your e-learning to life and appeal to your neurodiverse learners.
  • Multi-device
All E-learning is built in responsive authoring tools.
  • Flexible
E-learning can quickly be published to your LMS/LXP, accessed by your whole organisation, and tracked efficiently. All e-learning I produce is SCORM/xAPI compliant.
